Welcome to Mejo (“Application”) – a mobile application that allows you to share your beliefs with the world. Mejo is owned by SocialGene Infolabs Pvt Ltd (“SocialGene”,”we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy governs your use of Application and website (www.mejoapp.com) (together, the “Service”). Individuals accessing the Service shall be referred to as “You”, “Your” or “Users”. BY USING OUR APPLICATION, YOU AGREE THAT WE MAY COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW.
What information do we collect
User provided information
When you create an account, you are required to provide a Username, Password and Email address. You may also add optional information such as Fullname, About Me and Photo through your Profile page. You may post Beliefs and Comments on our Application. Username, Fullname, About Me, Photo, Beliefs, Comments (collectively, “User Content”) can be viewed by any User logged into the Application. We also store the information that you send to us (E.g. Feedback, Support Email).
Automatically collected information
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your unique mobile device ID, IP address, operating system, browser type, and information about the way you use the Application.
Analytics
We use third-party analytics tools to measure traffic and usage trends for the Application. These tools collect information including the Application pages you visit, how the Application was accessed, how long you stayed, number of first-time visitors, how often you use the Application, the events that occur within the Application and other information that assists us in improving the Application. This analytics information is collected and aggregated across Users, so that it cannot be used to identify any particular individual User.
How we may use your information
We use the information collected from you to operate, maintain and improve our Application and develop new features. We also use it to diagnose and fix technical problems. By providing us your Email address you consent to our sending you Service-related communications. You may not opt out of such communications (Account verification, Password reset, Changes/Updates to features of the Application, Technical and Security notices).
How long we keep your User Content
Following termination of your account, we may retain User Content for a reasonable time thereafter. Please note that some or all of the User Content may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
Sharing of your information
We will not rent or sell your information to any third party. Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy. We may disclose User provided and Automatically collected information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy. If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of SocialGene or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information such as Email, User Content and any other information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your User Content. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in Application. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed acceptance of all changes.

We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information. This is why we employ security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we attempt to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. Thus, any information you provide, post or send is at your own risk.
External Websites and Services
We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Service, including the information or content contained within them. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Service to another website or service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to those third party websites or services.
Children’s Privacy
Mejo is not aimed at children, and the Individuals under the age of 13 may not create an account with us. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please inform us at mejoapp@gmail.com.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account anytime by using Delete My Account option under My Account. Once your account is deleted, your personal information and data will also be deleted within 30 days.
